Conan Karpinski (CON THE ARTIST) is a South African-born producer, composer, and songwriter based in Toronto.
With over 27.5 million Spotify streams across the projects he’s contributed to, CON has built a reputation for emotionally rich songwriting, genre-bending production, and an ability to bring out the best in every artist he works with.

Known for creating a space where artists feel both comfortable and challenged, CON helps collaborators push beyond their comfort zones and try ideas they might never explore alone. His role in the room is to facilitate vision, guide the creative process, and ensure every session feels inspiring and fun.

As a multi-instrumentalist and former frontman of Soul Push, CON has toured internationally and opened for acts including Kodaline, Cold War Kids, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Shawn Desman, and Down With Webster across various shows and festivals.
His credits span collaborations with artists such as Ash Molloy, Nicole Amoroso, Petie, Chloe Stankowski, Transit22, SIOBHAN, and Brandi Vezina, as well as placements with Netflix, HBO, Apple TV, and Disney+.

Beyond producing and songwriting, CON is an award-winning composer whose orchestral works have premiered at VIFF, the Chinese Theatre in LA, and Harvard’s Arts Museum. He is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Slaight Music Residency and the Screen Composer Academy in Greece where he wrote and worked with a 34-piece orchestra.
